breathing easier with dōTERRA essential oils!

I’m on a never-ending quest to find alternative ways to live a wholesome, healthy life. I already take vitamins and try to consume whole foods and green juices on a regular basis (although I admit I have a soft spot for cupcakes and jelly beans), but I needed to add something more to my quest for a healthy, organic lifestyle. After months of hearing about essential oils and how much of an impact that have on health and well-being, I knew it was time to learn about them. Then, with perfect timing, Sara mentioned that she was working with dōTERRA and how much their oils helped her family. I talked with Sara, did some research, and…. (drum roll please) officially became a consultant for dōTERRA essential oils!!

Up until now, my only exposure to oils were certain kinds on my face, skin, and hair, along with lavender and cardamom essential oils in a spray bottle next to my bed (a light mist on my pillow equals restful sleep). Essential oils were still a wonderful mystery for me. In the month since I’ve signed up with dōTERRA, I have learned so much about how EOs not only make the air smell good, but how they affect mental and physical well-being. Armed with this knowledge has made me much more confident about managing my health — and I still have more to learn! Since dōTERRA’s oils are certified pure therapeutic grade oils, they can also be taken internally, which adds a whole new dimension to the use of EOs.

I admit — I was kind of nervous about whether or not I’d actually love them as much as everyone told me I would. When my package arrived, I started experimenting with all the oils I had right away. I. Loved. Them. They are amazing. They smell great and work wonders! After sharing Breathe with my husband and friends, they were asking me “for the oil that helps you breathe.” The lemon is a perfect addition to my water. Lavender on my feet helps me sleep so good. Elevation really did lift my spirits. The peppermint beadlets are the longest-lasting ‘breath mints’ I’ve ever had. When DigestZen helped my yucky tummy pains go away within five minutes, I was amazed. When my skeptical husband ended up asking me to use some of the oils on him because he loved that they were actually working, I knew I had hit the jackpot. The response from everyone I have shared this with so far has been overwhelmingly positive. That makes me happy.

I’ve been a part of other companies before but I have never felt as excited and passionate about something as I am about dōTERRA! This really aligns with what I advocate and strive for, and is a perfect fit for my life. In fact, I may be pretty over-excited. I’m kind of at the point where I say, “I’ve got an oil for that!” to everyone multiple times a day. But that’s OK  — because we all need to be a little more passionate about things we love.
